New Webpage for Streamlined Subdivision Regulations

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 6, 2024) - On July 23, 2024, the Charlotte County Commission approved new code language designed to streamline and reduce processing timeframes for the approval of plats and subdivisions. This update, aligned with Senate Bill 812 (s. 177.073, F.S.) and signed into law by the Florida governor on May 29, 2024, aims to simplify and expedite the platting process. In response, the Charlotte County Community Development Department launched a new webpage to educate the public on the updated platting process.
