Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On July 18, 2024, Dr. Samir J. Serhan resigned as the Chief Operating Officer of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (the "Company"), effective immediately. Dr. Serhan is expected to remain with the Company until September 30, 2024.

Dr. Serhan is expected to receive severance and other benefits in accordance with the Company's Executive Separation Program. The terms of the Executive Separation Program were disclosed in the Company's definitive proxy statement for its 2024 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, which was filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on December 8, 2023.
