Missouri has a rich history of fall traditions, rooted in the early settlers who celebrated the harvest season. Did you know our state is home to some of the oldest pumpkin patches in the region? Generations of families have enjoyed the ritual of picking pumpkins, and as one of the top producers of apples in the country, Missouri's apple orchards are a long-standing tradition that brings people together each fall. When we gather at these pumpkin patches and orchards, we're celebrating not just the season but also our agricultural heritage and the hardworking farmers who support our communities.
