Detour lifted

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Red Lion Avenue (Route 2079) bridge spanning the North Branch Muddy Creek between Rippling Run Road (Route 2060) and Main Street (Route 2054) in Felton Borough, York County, is open to traffic.

The bridge was closed this past spring for a replacement project.

A detour associated with the closure has been lifted.

Lobar Site Development Corp. of Dillsburg, PA, is the contractor on this $2,231,327 project. All work is expected to be completed by May 20, 2025.
