Join fans from around the world for an unforgettable celebration to commemorate the 30^th anniversary of the iconic film, The Shawshank Redemption. This milestone event takes place in Mansfield, Ohio and the surrounding area August 8^th - August 11^th, 2024 and offers fans an opportunity to relive this timeless classic. Tickets are selling out, so don't put off making plans now.

Fans experience a Shawshank-style pilgrimage to walk the halls and follow the path of Andy, Red, and Warden Norton on The Shawshank Trail (a self-guided driving tour of 15 actual filming sites). With special guest appearances, movie screenings, engaging photo opportunities, panel discussions, and cast events during the weekend, Shawshank30 promises to be a memorable tribute to the movie that has touched the hearts of millions.

The Historic Ohio State Reformatory will be open all weekend from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Tickets available onsite.

The Shawshank Trail

Take the opportunity to travel The Shawshank Trail and visit the 15 authentic movie sites at your own pace on this self-guided driving tour. Fans can't experience the movie any better than immersing themselves in the stops along this trail.

Photo Ops:

Be on the lookout for Shawshank life-size standup characters during the anniversary weekend. Don't miss these great photo ops along The Shawshank Trail where you can put yourself in the actual filming site. Share the fun and use hashtag- #shawshank30 #shawshanktrail.

Visit the opening scene filming location - Pugh Cabin at Malabar Farm State Park. Scott Mann and Renee Blaine, the two lovers from the movie, will be at the cabin Friday, August 9^th, from 9:00am - 11:00am signing autographs. See the original Plymouth car featured in the opening scene and snap a quick photo!

Swing over to Crosby Advisory Group, (a.k.a Maine National Bank) in Ashland on Friday, August 9^th from 11:30am - 12:30pm and Saturday, August 10^th from 11:00am - 12:00pm for free autographs. Claire Slemmer, the bank teller in the movie, will be visiting and signing autographs.

Go to KV Market (Food-Way) on Friday, August 9^th from 1:30pm-2:30pm, and see Mansfield's own "Red" look-a-like. On Saturday, August 10th from 1:00pm-2:00pm, the Food-Way manager with be at KV Market for photos. Red will be visiting the pawn shop along the Shawshank Hustle race route in downtown Mansfield on Saturday, August 10^th from 8:00am - 9:00am. Cheer on the runners while you're there! The "Red" look-alike makes his final appearance on the Road to Buxton Sunday, August 11^th from 10:30am - 12:00pm.
