The associate director is responsible for providing assistance to the executive director, giving special attention to the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the strategic plan and goals for the center. The associate director is also responsible for overseeing the implementation of center initiatives, track and communicate progress of goals, evaluate and continuously improve center performance and oversee daily operations.
Educational requirements: Master's degree in educational leadership or related field or 10+ years experience in similar job role.
Other required qualifications: A good working knowledge of early childhood education, language and literacy development and reading science; strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; solid computer literacy; and strong organizational and management skills.
Required Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work in early childhood education, research study design and outcome measurement, leadership and supervisory experience.
