MoDOT to close S. Woods Mill Road roundabout overnight August 23

ST. LOUIS - Drivers who use South Woods Mill Road (the southbound Route 141outer road) between Interstate 64 and Clayton Road should be aware of an upcoming overnight closure.

Weather permitting, crews will close the roundabout on South Woods Mill Road Friday, August 23, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. to make pavement repairs.

Drivers will not be able to exit to Woods Mill Road or South Outer 40 from southbound Route 141, nor will they be able to enter southbound Route 141 from the roundabout. They will also be unable to travel from South Outer 40 road to Clayton Road using South Woods Mill Road.

Just the roundabout will be closed, so motorists can turn right on Conway Road from southbound Route 141 to turn onto South Outer 40 and get to locations north of the roundabout. Drivers can use Clayton Road and South Woods Mill Road to get to areas south of the roundabout.

To detour to southbound Route 141 from north of the roundabout, drivers can use South Outer 40 and Conway Road. The detour to southbound Route 141 from south of the roundabout will be to use Clayton Road.
