North Riverside Drive to Close

AMES, Iowa - North Riverside Drive will close from Lincoln Way to North Second Street on Monday, Nov. 18, weather permitting, for the removal and replacement of pavement.

This is anticipated to take two weeks. The sidewalk will remain open along the east side of North Riverside Drive.

The City of Ames has contracted with Con-Struct for the reconstruction of North Riverside Drive from Lincoln Way to North Third Street. This project will include manhole removal and replacement, curb and gutter replacement, driveway apron, collector line, and infill pavement. Additionally, sidewalk ramps will be updated to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
