Route 1006 Creek Road Pipe Replacement Begins Monday in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 1006 (Creek Road) is scheduled to close on Monday, August 12, between Hirsch Road and Midget Camp Road in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County.

Westmoreland County maintenance department crew will be replacing a pipe.

The closure is anticipated through late August. All work depends on weather and operations.

A posted detour will be in place using:

  • Route 1011 (Midget Camp Road).
  • Route 711 (Ligonier Street).
  • ​Route 1006 (Creek Road).
Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
