No: 195, 22 September 2024, Regarding the Mine Accident in South Khorasan Province of Iran

We are saddened by the loss of many lives and injuries as a result of a mine accident in the city of Tabas in South Khorasan province of Iran.

We wish Allah's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the mine accident, a speedy recovery to the injured and convey our condolences to the people of Iran. We hope that those remaining in the mine will be rescued as soon as possible.
