COVID-19 vaccinations are now available across the country, and with case numbers on the rise again, getting vaccinated is more important than ever.
Boyd Gaming strongly encourages every team member to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Remember, vaccination is the single best way to keep yourself, your family, your co-workers and your guests safe from COVID-19.
There is another benefit to getting vaccinated - PTO reimbursement. From now through October 1, all eligible team members who complete their recommended vaccinations will qualify to receive a PTO reimbursement of eight hours (four hours for part-time and on-call team members) or a vacation day if they are a salaried team member, regardless of where they receive their vaccine.
If you are unsure where to go to find a vaccination site, you can visit www.vaccines.gov/search. The website allows you to search for vaccine sites closest to you by entering your zip code. You can also choose to search by which version of the vaccine you prefer to receive, including the Moderna, Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines, which are all widely available in communities across the country.
If you don't have internet access, you can also call the National COVID-19 Vaccination Assistance Hotline at 1-800-232-0233 for assistance with finding vaccination locations.
