Tanner Primary Care at The Birches Now Open to Serve the Community

Tanner Health and The Birches on Maple announce the opening of Tanner Primary Care at The Birches.

This clinic resides in The Birches on Maple, a 55+ community, and will operate Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is committed to serving the healthcare needs of residents of The Birches on Maple and the surrounding community.

The clinic will be led by Ruth Allison Griffin, FNP-C, an experienced and dedicated family nurse practitioner.

Griffin is a board-certified family nurse practitioner serving the Carrollton, Ga., community and surrounding areas. She earned her first bachelor's degree in dietetics and nutrition from the University of Mississippi, providing her with a special interest in how nutrition plays an integral role in overall physical health and well-being. She earned a bachelor's in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she served as a registered nurse in the intensive care and post-anesthesia care units. She continued to advance her studies, earning a master's in nursing as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) from UAB. Before joining Tanner Primary Care at the Birches, she practiced at Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates and, most recently, at Primary Care of Bremen.
