IDG Appoints Susan Hunsberger as Chief People Officer

Experienced HR Leader to Drive Talent Growth and Organizational Transformation

NEEDHAM, Mass., November 19, 2024 - International Data Group (IDG), the leading market intelligence and data company, announced today the appointment of seasoned executive Susan Hunsberger as its Chief People Officer. Hunsberger will join the IDG Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to Genevieve Juillard, Chief Executive Officer of IDG.

In her role, Hunsberger will lead IDG's global human resources organization with responsibility for strategic HR initiatives including talent acquisition and management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion and employee engagement. She will partner closely with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement strategies that support IDG's goals and support it as a great place to work.

Hunsberger brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles across various industries, including healthcare, aviation, consumer goods, services, and data analytics. Before joining IDG, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Simply Good Foods, where she collaborated closely with the executive team to develop long-term growth strategies and strengthen the company's corporate identity. She has also held senior HR leadership positions at ServiceMaster and Nielsen.

Hunsberger holds a master's degree in Organization Development from Bowling Green University and a bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Personnel Management from Miami University of Ohio.
