Hawkesbury City Council has undertaken a flood study of the Redbank Creek Catchment in North Richmond and surrounding areas
The draft Redbank Creek Flood Study has investigated both local overland flooding and mainstream flooding from Redbank Creek and the Hawkesbury River to provide an understanding of the full range of flood behavior and consequences in the Redbank Creek Catchment. This information will be used to inform future floodplain management actions to reduce flood impacts on the community.
Council is inviting the community and other stakeholders to comment on the draft Redbank Creek Flood Study. The draft Flood Study and other supporting information is on public exhibition for the period Monday 2 December 2024 to Thursday 30 January 2025 (excluding Christmas closure).
