2024 Lake Wheeler Invitational

April 26-27, Lake Wheeler Park will host an intercollegiate rowing event co-sponsored by UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University women's rowing programs.

Collegiate teams from Boston College, Boston University, Clemson, Duke, Georgetown, Iowa, Alabama, Kansas, Louisville, Miami, NAVY, Syracuse, University of Central Florida, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, Tennessee, Tulsa, Penn, and Washington State University are scheduled to compete.

Event Details

• Wednesday, April 24
  The Lake Wheeler boating launch area will be closed to the public.
• Thursday, April 25
  Lake Wheeler Park will be closed for general access. Event staff, athletes, and coaches may access the park. No spectators.
• Friday, April 26 - Saturday, April 27
  Lake Wheeler Park will be closed for general access. Event staff, athletes, coaches, and rowing regatta spectators may access the park.
  Event parking will be $20 per vehicle.
• Sunday, April 28
  Lake Wheeler Park will reopen to the public.
