Opening of the Summer University, organized by the International Organization of Francophonie was held in Bucharest

On 1 July, the opening of the Summer University, organized by the Regional Representation of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) for Central and Eastern Europe, was held in Bucharest with the participation of a large group of students from Armenia.

The solemn opening ceremony led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Luminița Odobescu, and the OIF Secretary General Louise Mushikiwabo, was followed by a round table meeting entitled "The art of diplomat" with the participation of the Ambassadors of Armenia, France, Morocco, Lebanon and Vietnam to Romania and the summer university students.

During the interactive Q&A session with the students, Ambassador Tigran Galstyan spoke on the modern challenges of the diplomatic activity, the must-have professional and personal skills of the future diplomats, the importance of cultivating critical thinking and the information literacy, as well as presented the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Armenia and Armenia's active involvement within the OIF.
