Declaration of Temporary Housing and Shelter Emergency

PUEBLO - Mayor of Pueblo Heather Graham issued a declaration of temporary housing and shelter emergency for the City of Pueblo beginning Monday, December 2, 2024. This is pursuant to the provision of Ordinance No. 10058 and the declaration commences at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, and ending at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2024.

During this emergency, local churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other religious institutions may utilize their buildings as temporary shelters for the City's homeless.

The National Weather Service predicts moisture and low temperatures for this period of time from December 2 through 9.
