District 5 News Supervisor Jeff Serdy

Recently, Supervisor Serdy's Office met with leadership from Gold Canyon community groups, including ADOBE (Association for the Development of a Better Environment)., the Chamber of Commerce, GCCI (Gold Canyon Community, Inc.), and SALT (Superstition Area Land Trust), to discuss a unified collaborative effort for the betterment of Gold Canyon into the future.

Topics of discussion included local transportation issues, the State Trust Lands surrounding Gold Canyon, and critical conservation lands that make Gold Canyon a unique destination. The group also discussed working with Pinal County toward a Special Area Plan.

In a positive meeting, all leaders in these organizations agreed to work closely together and align in "synchronized planning."
