Parrish Medical Group Cardiology Welcomes Andre Gabriel, MD Cardiovascular Programs

Parrish Healthcare is pleased to welcome interventional cardiologist Andre Gabriel, MD, to Parrish Medical Group. His office is located in the Parrish Healthcare Center at 5005 Port St. John Parkway, Suite 2300, Port St. John, FL 32927.

Dr. Gabriel received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Connecticut. He received specialized training in all aspects of vascular disease including coronary and peripheral interventions. Dr. Gabriel is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. In addition, he has earned the distinguished title of Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.

His decision to pursue both general cardiology and interventional cardiology stems from his desire to proactively prevent illness in patients while also being equipped to provide necessary treatments when required, allowing him to provide comprehensive patient care. Professionally, he exhibits a keen interest in all facets of coronary and peripheral intervention, with a specific focus on claudication (a form of peripheral arterial disease/PAD causing pain in the legs, calves, or buttocks when walking); critical limb ischemia (significant blockage to blood flow in the arms, legs, or feet); and venous disease including Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE) management.

Dr. Gabriel is proactive in primary and secondary prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (plaque buildup in the arteries). In addition, he has received specialized training in the field of cardio-oncology. During his extensive training, Dr. Gabriel has received multiple teaching awards, presented at national meetings and published numerous research articles in cardiology journals. Apart from his professional pursuits, Dr. Gabriel finds enjoyment in spending time with his wife and daughter, playing basketball and traveling.
