Ambassador Li Chen for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Attends the 22nd Doha Forum

From December 7 to 8, 2024, Ambassador Li Chen for China-Arab States Cooperation Forum Affairs of the Foreign Ministry attended the 22nd Doha Forum. The theme of this year's forum is "The Innovation Imperative". Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended the opening ceremony of the forum and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. More than 4,500 people attended the meeting, including political figures and representatives from more than 150 countries and international and regional organizations, as well as academics, business people and media personnel.

During the forum, Ambassador Li Chen met with Acting Director of Asian Affairs Department of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs Al-Johara Yousef Fakhro, and had an exchange of views on China-Qatar and China-Arab relations as well as the regional situation and hotspot issues of common interest and concern.
