MPD Arrests Teenager for Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a teenager, who robbed a man in Northeast.
On Sunday, June 30, 2024, at approximately 12:24 a.m., the suspect approached the victim from behind while he was walking near the corner of 14th and Newton Streets, Northeast. The suspect threatened the victim and demanded his property. The victim complied. The suspect fled the scene.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16-year-old juvenile male of Northeast, DC was arrested and charged with Robbery (Fear).
