OAS Permanent Council Considers Date and Place of Special General Assembly on Budget

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Friday, September 6, at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT), in the Simón Bolívar Room at OAS Headquarters in Washington, D.C., to consider the draft resolution "Place and date of the fifty-fifth special session of the General Assembly to consider and adopt the 2025 Program-Budget", and to elect the Chair of the Committee on Hemispheric Security for the period 2024-2025, among other topics.
