WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark E. Green, MD (R-TN) released the following statement after President-elect Donald Trump announced his full slate of Department of Homeland Security appointments and White House advisors for border security policy:
"Securing America's borders, ending the historic Biden-Harris border crisis, and ending illegal immigration will be a top priority for Washington next year. Under President Trump's leadership, we look forward to working alongside the strong team he has assembled to lead these efforts in the administration. We must return to strong border security policies, swift interior enforcement, and empowered DHS law enforcement. There is much work to do, and this Committee will work closely with this robust team to ensure DHS succeeds in its homeland security mission and makes America safe once again."
