The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warns of a major crime being committed by extremist Jewish organizations against Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warns of the dangerous rhetoric being circulated by the extremist Jewish organization "Temple Mount Activists" on social media, calling for the destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock to pave the way for the construction of the so-called "Third Temple." This dangerous incitement is not new, as similar calls have been made by the "Temple Mount Organizations," which frequently promote images of the alleged temple replacing the Dome of the Rock.

The Ministry expresses deep concern over this continued incitement, particularly given the recent escalation in the number of Jewish extremists storming Al-Aqsa Mosque, performing Talmudic prayers, and conducting religious rituals in its courtyards, often with the participation of Israeli government ministers and Knesset members, including extremist Minister Ben-Gvir. These actions signal official political protection and support for those Judaization measures targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Ministry continues to coordinate efforts with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to counter the targeting of Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem's Christian and Islamic holy sites, seeking to galvanize international condemnation and build a strong global front to stop these provocations and provide international protection for the Palestinian people, particularly in Jerusalem.

The Ministry emphasizes that the international community's failure to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities towards the Palestinian people and Al-Aqsa encourages Israel's far-right government to escalate its aggression and crimes against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
