Effigy Mounds National Monument has been proud to host several internships this summer working on a variety of projects within the park. These projects have consisted of research, accessibility improvements, public outreach, and library management. On Thursday July 25th, 2024, at 1:00 PM, our interns will be presenting their projects in the Visitor Center auditorium. This event is open to the public.

We will be offering a Ranger-Guided sunrise hike on the Cross Quarter Day at 5:00 AM on August 6, 2024. This hike will be to the Fire Point overlook in the North Unit of the park.
