A new study reports that women are more likely to return for future breast screening after a true-positive result rather than a false-positive result. Evita Singh, M.D., diagnostic radiologist, director of Breast Imaging, and member of the Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Team at Karmanos, joined All Talk With Kevin Dietz to explain what this study means, what possible results women may receive after having a mammogram, and why it is important to come back for any necessary follow-up screenings and continue to receive annual mammograms.
