About Murder Mindfully

Björn Diemel (Tom Schilling), a successful attorney, unexpectedly becomes a murderer; with the help of a mindfulness seminar, he tries to find a new work-life balance in order to spend more quality time with his daughter and-ideally-save his marriage. The seminar actually produces the desired outcome, albeit in a completely different way than expected. He applies the newly learned mindfulness technique directly to his client, Dragan Sergowicz (Sascha Geršak)-a brutal and ruthless mafia boss-and then both the police and an entire mafia clan are hot on his heels. Despite the tense situation, Björn always manages to keep calm and completely reorganize his life. And the fact that a few murders are necessary along the way to solve his problems is just the natural consequence of his mindful life change.

Murder Mindfullyis based on the bestselling series of the same name by successful German author and lawyer Karsten Dusse. The first novel has been translated into 26 languages. The German edition alone has sold more than 1.5 million copies to date.
