Webisode series featuring North Dakota specialty crops back for second year

BISMARCK - Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced the planned release of four more webisodes in their original series, Fresh from North Dakota, featuring North Dakota specialty crops. A webisode has been released today with an additional webisode coming each Wednesday through Aug. 28, 2024. <_o3a_p>

"The series showcases the abundance that grows here and celebrates the tireless efforts of our producers," Goehring said. "We've partnered with engaging North Dakota food personalities to show you how to cook a variety of locally-sourced foods."<_o3a_p>

The series features North Dakota culinary couple Sara and Eric Watson, and North Dakota chef Heather Schneider, and will be released through the North Dakota Department of Agriculture's social media channels and website at https://www.ndda.nd.gov/freshfromND.<_o3a_p>

A packet of all the recipes featured in the series so far may be picked up at participating farmers markets or requested from the website. <_o3a_p>

The series was funded by USDA's Specialty Crop Block Grant Program.<_o3a_p>
