Alaska Sanitherm 5-Year Land Use Permit

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (Division) received a Land Use Permit application from Alaska Sanitherm on June 25, 2024, requesting authorization for two potable water treatment plants at Mine Site F in the Kuparuk River Unit. Each water treatment plant will be built into a 53-foot insulated container and will be powered by a 120-kW generator. The produced potable water will be stored in four 17,000-gallon tanks. The purpose of this project is to provide support for projects on the west side of Kuparuk by providing potable water.

A copy of the final decision will be sent to any person who provides written comments. An eligible person affected by this decision may appeal or request the commissioner's reconsideration in accordance with 11 AAC 02.
