DuBOIS, Pa. - Penn State DuBois athletics has announced the selection of John Schneider as its new head golf coach for the upcoming fall season.

A former assistant golf professional, Schneider started his career in golf at Outdoor Country Club in York before moving on to a similar position at Treasure Lake, a semi-private residential development located near DuBois, which is home to two Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) rated golf courses. While his professional career has taken him outside of golf now, Schneider has still won several club championships at Beechwoods Golf Course, located in Falls Creek.

I look forward to passing on some of the strategies I have used in competition to each player I have the opportunity to work with. I look forward to leading Penn State DuBois in competition in the PSUAC and USCAA.
