NIH Seeking Applications for Implementation Science in Climate Change and Health

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Climate Change and Health Initiative (CCHI) is accepting applications for studies focused on implementation science to address the health impacts of climate change. Proposals are due by February 5, 2025, and should explore barriers and facilitators to adopting, scaling up, and sustaining effective interventions that prevent or mitigate climate-related health effects in the US and globally.

This cross-cutting effort aims to stimulate transformative research to reduce health threats posed by climate change across the lifespan. Researchers are encouraged to submit innovative proposals that, for instance:
