GCSU to host Bobcat Bash and Athletics Alumni Weekend Oct. 18-19

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Georgia College & State University Department of Athletics have announced the dates for the inaugural Bobcat Bash and Athletics Alumni Weekend.

The Bobcat Bash, which is a new fundraising supporting GCSU student-athletes, will be held Oct. 18, while the Athletics Alumni Weekend, where alumni can reconnect with their teams, will be Oct. 19.

The Bobcat Bash will start at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 in the Centennial Center. The event will feature dinner, dancing and an exclusive silent auction team - all to raise funds for enhancing the student-athlete experience at GCSU. Tickets $125 person or $250 for a couple. The Bobcat Bash also marks the kickoff of the GCSU Athletics Alumni Weekend Oct. 19 when GCSU sports programs will be hosting athletics alumni events. These events will be a great opportunity for alumni, families and friends to reconnect with their teams and engage with the current student-athletes. The GCSU Athletics Alumni Weekend wraps up with our sixth annual Athletics Day of Giving Oct. 22. This day is dedicated to raising crucial support for our GCSU student-athletes, ensuring excellence in all they do. One hundred percent of your donation goes directly to the team of your choice, making an immediate impact on our student-athletes.
