One Person Deceased Following Crash in Northeast Portland

One person is deceased following a crash in Northeast Portland.
On Monday, October 28, 2024, at 6:40 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to reports of a crash near Northeast Halsey Street and Northeast 118th Avenue. When officers arrived, they determined that two vehicles had been involved in a collision. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second person was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team is responding to the scene. During the investigation, Northeast Halsey will be closed to traffic between Northeast 117th Avenue and Northeast 122nd Avenue.
