On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Tulane University leaders, board members, faculty, distinguished alumni and donors gathered to celebrate the momentous announcement that the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine will be named in honor of alumna Celia Scott Weatherhead in recognition of her record-breaking lifetime support of more than $160 million to the university.

The announcement took place in Diboll Auditorium of the school's Tidewater Building on the downtown campus. President Michael A.
