Canyon County is the second most populous county in Idaho and experienced the third highest population growth rate over the last 20 years, according to Labor Economist Lisa Grigg.

"Canyon County's high population growth results in the creation of new businesses and labor mobility opportunities for workers," Grigg said.

The Idaho Department of Labor's Caldwell office is hosting a job fair, Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help residents find work.

The address is 4514 Thomas Jefferson St.

Employers planning to attend include Amazon, U.S. Border Patrol, Bogus Basin, Fresca Mexican Foods, Caldwell Transportation Company, Idaho Military Division, Idaho Youth Ranch and more.

These businesses are looking for warehouse workers, drivers, lead teachers, bus drivers, home health care workers and more.

For a complete list of employers, visit the IdahoWorks calendar.

Job search and interview tips are available at labor.idaho.gov/publications. Search under Job Seeker Publications.

Customers with disabilities who need a reasonable accommodation to participate can email [email protected] or call 208-696-5456.

Dial 711 to access the Idaho Relay Service for the deaf and hard of hearing.

Attending a job seeker event counts as one weekly work search action for unemployment insurance purposes.
