Detectives Execute Search Warrants in Dorchester and Recover Guns, Drugs and United States Currency

On July 1, 2024, Detectives assigned to the Human Trafficking and Crimes Against Children Unit executed four Search Warrants at 908 and 912 Morton Street, Dorchester. As a result of the search warrants, Luis Lugo, 37, of Quincy was placed under arrest and charged with:

• Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (9mm SCCY)
• Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (loaded- 9mm SCCY)
• Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
• Trafficking Class A
• Trafficking Class B
• Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D
• Armed Career Criminal 1

Detectives also seized in excess of $89,000 in United States Currency. Lugo will be arraigned in the Dorchester District Court.
