POTENTIAL TRAFFIC IMPACTS RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION
OF 16@95 IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will close interstate lanes and ramps at the locations below for the 16@95 Improvement Projects, which will widen I-16 and reconstruct the I-16/I-95 Interchange. The lane closures are necessary for widening activities for I-16, bridge work on I-95, and bridge work at the I-16/I-516 Interchange. A temporary 80-hour closure of Chatham Parkway at I-16 is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 26, and end at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30 ("Complete Closure Period").
During the 80-hour Complete Closure Period, all ramps on and off I-16 will remain open, except as noted below.

Northbound Chatham Parkway traffic approaching I-16 will only be able to turn right onto I-16 eastbound.

I-16 westbound off-ramp traffic will only be able to turn north onto Chatham Parkway and the I-16 westbound off-ramp will be closed to traffic when I-16 westbound is closed at Chatham Parkway.
