Taking off from the Badaling Airport, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Badaling Great Wall in the air, fly over the Kangxi Grassland and the Wild Duck Lake, and admire the wind farm by the Guanting Reservoir, taking in the magnificent northern scenery in the distance.

Badaling Airport, one of the few Class A1 general airports in Beijing, supports various low-altitude flight activities with its vast airspace resources. In October 2020, Yanqing District was approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China to become the only area in Beijing to join the rank of the country's first "civil unmanned aviation pilot zones".
