Explore the Sky: Enjoy Aerial Tour and Skydiving at Badaling Airport

This summer, Badaling Airport has launched a variety of innovative experience projects, including aerial tour, skydiving, powered paragliding, low-altitude educational program, flight experience and drone pilot training, enabling tourists to enjoy diversified high-quality low-altitude adventures.

"Helicopter tours for an aerial view of Badaling Great Wall" is a sought-after experience among tourists. Taking off from the Badaling Airport, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the Badaling Great Wall in the air, fly over the Kangxi Grassland and the Wild Duck Lake, and admire the wind farm by the Guanting Reservoir, taking in the magnificent northern scenery in the distance.

Badaling Airport, one of the few Class A1 general airports in Beijing, supports various low-altitude flight activities with its vast airspace resources. In October 2020, Yanqing District was approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China to become the only area in Beijing to join the rank of the country's first "civil unmanned aviation pilot zones".

To date, Yanqing District has gathered many elite enterprises in the low-altitude economy sector, and launched extreme sports such as aerial tour, skydiving and powered paragliding, so that tourists can experience the speed and passion of flying while challenging themselves. At the same time, it has introduced low-altitude educational programs for teenagers, including flight experience and drone operation activities, to inspire their love and exploration of aviation.
