Students interested in learning more about graduate programs and career pathways in peace and justice, social innovation, conflict resolution and mediation are invited to chat with Prof. Jacob Wild Crea from the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies at the University of San Diego on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Center for Peacemaking.

All Marquette alumni receive a 25% tuition discount at Kroc School graduate degree programs.

Crea believes that conflict resolution skills are necessary to create the type of world we all want to live in. He is a facilitator, mediator, trainer and conflict coach that works with individuals, organizations and communities to foster positive social change. He runs an initiative that uses conflict resolution dialogue techniques from the peacebuilding field to create higher-trust collaboration between funders and practitioners (nonprofits) to improve the efficacy of philanthropic giving. In addition, Crea works for the National Center for Conflict Resolution as a facilitator, mediator and trainer with organizations across San Diego and the United States.

He teaches conflict management and resolution (CMR) courses at USD, providing hands on learning for students to develop agency and comfort using CMR tools, techniques and practices in a variety of applications.
