SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Two opening acts with Midwestern roots have been added to Sanford International Live! Minneapolis band American Scarecrows and South Dakota native Rowan Grace will open for multi-platinum-selling band Third Eye Blind at the Sanford Pentagon on Sept. 12.

Concert tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at sanfordinternational.com. Tickets are $45 for general admission; $60 for general admission plus a grounds ticket to Friday's opening round of the Sanford International; or $250 for a VIP ticket package, which includes access to front of the concert stage with food, beer, wine and seltzers. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the openers set to start the show at 7:15 p.m.

"The additions of American Scarecrows and Rowan Grace to Sanford International Live! are going to make an already incredible night of music and entertainment even better," said Davis Trosin, tournament director of the Sanford International. "We are excited to host this signature event for the community and give fans a night to remember."

The singer-songwriter trio of American Scarecrows features Seth Davin on guitar backed by the rhythm section of Allen Maier on drums and Matthew Broadbent providing the low end. Their music matches their storytelling with an indie-pop sensibility, rounded out with tastes of folk-rock, country and Americana. Albums include Keep Your Devils Around (2011), Yesteryear (2014) and Drawing Little Pictures (2022). Fans of The Wallflowers, Band of Horses and The Jayhawks will find a place on their playlists for American Scarecrows.

South Dakota native Rowan Grace has always dreamed of performing for audiences large and small. In 2022, she had the opportunity to sing on NBC's The Voice stage for the whole world to see. Rowan's music choices on The Voice were a direct reflection of some of her musical influences, from Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish to Fleetwood Mac and Billy Joel. Rowan has been writing and singing her own music and is looking forward to sharing her story through her high energy show.
