Lane restrictions on Jane Street and Ida Street in Sunderland

Whitby, Ontario - The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Jane Street and Ida Street in the Township of Brock's community of Sunderland.

When: Week of September 30 to mid-December 2024.Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Jane Street, from Ida Street to approximately 230 metres north of Ida Street, and Ida Street between Albert Street and Jane Street, in Sunderland.

Why: For a watermain replacement.

Note: Watermain work in this area will continue on Maple Street North starting in May 2025, and more details will be provided in advance. For more information regarding the watermain replacement project in Sunderland, visit durham.ca/SunderlandWatermain.

The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
