Subcontractors Needed: Nicholtown Community Center

The City of Greenville and Cely Construction invite qualified trade businesses to attend a subcontracting event on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Nicholtown Missionary Baptist Church, 327 Ackley Road.

The City seeks to connect qualified, local, small, minority and/or women-owned subcontractors for opportunities with Cely Construction. Construction will begin in the spring of 2025 and is expected to continue for nine to 12 months.

City Council approved $4.9 million for Nicholtown Community Center renovations using a combination of City and state funding. The project includes substantial upgrades to the 6,048-square-foot facility located at 112 Rebecca Street, including interior and exterior work as well as park improvements.
