DCCC Releases First TV Ad in CA-13: “Promise”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for California's 13th Congressional District, "Promise," highlighting John Duarte's extremism and constant broken promises on reproductive rights.

John Duarte proudly claimed he would vote against any federal abortion legislation, but the moment he arrived in Congress, he voted to restrict women's reproductive freedoms and punish doctors who perform abortions. By siding with the most extreme members of his party, Duarte is now threatening birth control, critical procedures like IVF, and even enabling the possibility of a national abortion ban with no exceptions - including in California.

The ad - the first to run in CA-13 from the DCCC IE - is airing in the Fresno and Sacramento media markets beginning today and is part of the committee's previously announced investments in key battleground districts. Additionally, a Spanish-language version of "Promise" will be airing in the Fresno media market beginning today.
