Main Street lane closed for water main work

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has closed the eastbound lane of Main Street from N. Spring Street to Public Square for water main maintenance work.

Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and equipment when approaching the work zone or choose an alternate travel route to avoid congestion or delays.

The water main work is anticipated to be finished and the lane reopened by approximately 10 p.m.
