South Water Street to Reopen on August 10 as Bridge Replacement over Cowanshannock Creek Continues Forward

Indiana, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing the reopening of the structure carrying South Water Street (Route 2001) over Cowanshannock Creek in Rural Valley, Armstrong County.

The bridge, located between the intersections of Route 85 and Route 2006, was closed on July 22 for replacement.

The $953,000 project is estimated to be completed in November 2024 by contractor, Thomas Construction of Grove City, PA.
