One House Candidate, Three RTD Candidates Qualify for General Election Ballot
Denver, July 22, 2024 - The Elections Division of the Colorado Secretary of State's Office announced today that Mark Bromley, unaffiliated candidate for Colorado House District 34, Barbara McManus, nonpartisan candidate for RTD Board of Directors District D, Paul Rosenthal, nonpartisan candidate for RTD Board of Directors District E, and Patrick O'Keefe, nonpartisan candidate for RTD Board of Directors District H, have submitted the required number of signatures to appear on the November 5, 2024 General Election ballot.
Candidates for Colorado House of Representatives are required to collect 1,000 signatures (or 30% of votes cast in the last election, whichever is smaller) in their district, a requirement outlined by 1-4-802(1)(c)(V), C.R.S. Mark Bromley submitted 1,205 valid signatures, eclipsing the 1,000-signature threshold.
