Neal Statement on Moyle v. United States

Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that emergency care in Idaho will remain available while the case returns to the lower courts:

"This temporary reprieve for emergency care in Idaho doesn't negate how Republicans threw our nation into a health care crisis and necessitated this ruling. Stripping the American people of their constitutional right to choose has left too many unable to access the care they need.

"For this to be the state of health care in America is shameful, and it lies solely at the feet of Republicans. We won't stop until we've put an end to this madness, returned medicine to the center of our health care, and allowed women to live without the fear of the next leaked opinion threatening their bodily autonomy."
