At Applied Materials, we strive to Make Possible® a Better Future every day - and one of the ways we activate this vision is through our EarthWorks environmental campaign.
\r\nThroughout the spring, Applied Materials employees from across the globe joined together to explore the natural world and inspire action for environmental sustainability. This effort includes activities from nature hikes to seedling transplants and beyond!
\r\nThis year, over 2,500 employees mobilized to protect our planet and enjoy nature. In celebration of these efforts, the Applied Materials Foundation will donate funds to plant a tree in recognition of each participant.

In China, colleagues partnered with Shanghai Roots & Shoots and spent time learning about the zero-waste movement.

In France, our colleagues learned how to maximize the chances of growing plants and put that into practice by planting seeds and greening their environment.

Our colleagues in Israel used reclaimed wood to make seating for the community and plant tree saplings.

In India, employees got creative and participated in eco-friendly crafts like upcycling plastic water bottles as bird feeders. They also painted environmental-focused murals to inspire the next generation.
