Tukwila gets new driver licensing office

Residents along the busy I-5 corridor in south King County will soon have another driver licensing office to choose from. A full-service office is set to open in Tukwila on Thursday, Sept. 19.

The new location (200 Andover Park, Suite 3) will operate Monday through Friday in an inviting, modern space near shopping. It's a convenient choice for people whose closest options were Kent or West Seattle after the closure of a Renton location in 2022.

The Tukwila office will offer services such as:

  • First-time Washington driver license or ID card (enhanced included)
  • Renewal of driver license, permit, or ID
  • Out-of-state transfers
  • Driver record
  • Reinstatement letters

Many services are offered online at dol.wa.gov. Skip a trip and save time!
