Maintenance, shutdowns and building work for the Week of July 8-12

Notable upcoming campus work projects for the week of July 8-12, from WWU Facilities Development and Operations:

• On Tuesday, July 9 from 9-11 p.m. there will be a domestic water shutdown for the Viking Commons building as part of bathroom renovations. All domestic hot and cold water will be turned off for the entire building. To minimize impacts to building occupants, work has been scheduled to be performed after hours. Building occupants, please note that this shutdown is critical for project competition.
• Starting on 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10 through 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, roofers will be removing moss from the roof on the Northeast side of Buchanan Towers. This will affect the 2 doors near the bike repair area on the Northeast side of the building. Building occupants can still use the main entrance on the northeast side but are not allowed to use the areas that have "CAUTION" tape on them. To minimize the impact to building occupants, this project was scheduled until summer.
